Young scientist award

Bangalore: Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishath has invited applications for the Young Scientist Award 2009-10 instituted by the Department of Science and Technology-Karnataka from students aged between 15 and 18 years. Applications should be submitted through the heads of schools or colleges. The awards will be presented at the district and State levels carrying cash prize from Rs 1,000 to Rs. 10,000. The applications have to be sent to Deputy Directors of Public Instruction of the respective districts on or before February 25.
