Students win trophy at literary meet

PUDUCHERRY: Students of MA English Literature of Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate Studies won the rolling trophy for all-round performance at a State-level Inter-Collegiate Literary Meet.

According to a press release, the meet was held under the auspices of Pope John II College of Education. Students from colleges in Puducherry, Cuddalore and Villupuram participated.

The students won the first prize in drama, first and third prizes in debate, first prize in quiz, second in paper presentation and composing poem extempore and the best performer award in drama, Director of the centre O.P. Shyma said in the release.
