NSUI protest

Bangalore: Activists of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest against Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa’s announcement to offer land grants to the Mata Amritanandamayi Math. They urged the Chief Minister to withdraw the offer. “With an eye on the coming Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike elections, the Chief Minister is misusing the government funds by granting them to various religious institutions.”
