Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: Hotel Dolphin is organizing Awadhi Food Festival at its Horizon, the premier restaurant of Vizag from Friday to February 26. Awadhi cuisine has its origin in the city of Awadh (now Lucknow). Awadh, the long forgotten kingdom, whose memory now exists in books, has always been famous for its fabulous cuisine. Tempered by the Mughals, sculpted by the brijwasis and crafted by the Nawabs, the Royal spirit is piquantly palpable in the archetypal dishes from the Awadh. Emanating from Thandai, the tantalizing aroma whets one’s appetite for the whole range of shorbas and kebabs - the starters. A wide variety such as Pasanda kebab, shami kebab and Galouti kebab are on offer. Navratan pulao or Green Peas paratha, Methi Parathas, Khus Khus ki Puri, Paneer Kalimirch, Nawabi Curry, Navratan Korma, Nargisi Kofta, Murgh Musallam, Adraki Murgh, Indian Keeema Dum, Dahi ghost etc., form the main course a la carte. Awadhi sweets like Gulkand peda, Apple Rabadi, and Motichoor ke Ladoo etc. are also in the menu from 7.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
