Cases settled at adalat

KOCHI: Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court P.R. Raman on Saturday inaugurated the Lok Adalat organised by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA) at the District Court hall here on Saturday to settle cases filed by the Federal Bank. C.N. Ramachandran Nair, Kerala High Court judge, presided. The cases were handled by T.V. Ramakrishnan and P. Krishnamoorthy, former High Court judges.

Out of the 30 cases referred from the Debt Recovery Tribunal, 14 were settled, involving awarding of Rs. 3.61 crore and out of nine pre-litigation cases, five were settled.
