NALGONDA: Reiterating his resolve to pursue the separate Telangana goal, the Minister for Information Technology Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has exuded confidence that Telangana would attain statehood soon. The Minister laid the foundation stone for a new electricity sub-station at Chervupalli village in Tipparthi mandal on Sunday. The police have made tight security arrangements for the Minister’s programme in view of the volatile situation in the aftermath of the death of S Yadaiah, a pro-Telangana activist who immolated himself in Hyderabad. Later, speaking to mediapersons, Mr. Venkat Reddy expressed grief over the tragic death of Yadaiah. “I have earlier resigned to my posts even before anyone asked me to do so,” he said.
