Assumption downs SAI
PATHANAMTHITTA: Assumption College (Changanassery) defeated SAI-Kerala — a team comprising players from SAI's Thalassery and Kollam centres — 25-18, 25-15, 26-24 in a women's league match of the Kerala State inter-club volleyball championship at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium, Poonkavu, on Monday night.
Assumption had lost the championship opener against Pala's Alphonsa College in a five-setter on Sunday night.
In the men's section, Cochin Port Trust defeated Customs (Kochi) in a five-set thriller on Sunday night. — Principal Correspondent
