Insurance amount paid

VISAKHAPATNAM: The VUDA branch of Indian Overseas Bank on Monday paid Rs.1 lakh towards insurance amount to the kin of Jami Satyanarayana, a VUDA employee. Satyanarayana, who died recently had a savings account that has an insurance cover, with the IOB.

The amount was handed over to Satyanarayana’s son by VUDA Vice-Chairman B. Sreedhar in the presence of the bank’s Regional Chief Manager M Asoka.
