Anirudh Singh shines

HYDERABAD: A fine knock by Ranji star Anirudh Singh (84) helped State Bank of Hyderabad to record a 33-run win over New Blues in the A-Division (seniors) one-day knock-out cricket tournament here.

The scores: A-Division (seniors) one-day knock-out: SBH 225 (Anirudh Singh 84, Kushal Jilla 48) bt New Blues 192 for six (Shadab Tumbi 86, Ravi Kumar 31).

A-Division one-day league: Venus Cybertech 228 for seven (Issaq 45, Krishna 36, Ramu 84) bt Vijaypuri Willomen 148 (Raj 30, Ian Gager 60, Arvind Kamble five for 24).

Red Hills 92 (Venu four for 24, Ranjit four for 18) bt South-end Raymonds 91(Mehmood four for 22, Md Abdul Saleem three for 12, Afroze three for 12).

B-Division one-day league: Mahaveer CC 145 (Saikanth 35, Murali 36, Safi five for 49) lost to PN Youngsters 148 for three (Suri 51 not out, Imran 50).

Lal Bahadur CC 276 for six (Md Akbar 57, Md Anwar 41, Sachin Joshi 79, Shiva 39, B. H. Raj 31, Vamshi four for 43) bt Superstars 171 (Vamshi 48, B.H. Raj five for 28, Sachin five for 24).

Cyber Chess camp

Cyber Chess Academy will organise a training camp from April 17 to 23 at its premises in Secunderabad here, according to IM Lanka Ravi, chief coordinator of the Academy.
