Abhijith excels

CHENNAI: Abhijith Venkatesh (five for 18) starred in P.S. SSS's 71-run victory over Jawahar Vidyalaya by 71 runs in the PSBB (K.K. Nagar) under-10 cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores:

Vidya Mandir 184 in 25 overs (Vidhur 40, Nivethan three for 49) bt Sri Sankara 128 in 25 overs (R. Abijit 30, R. Niketan 36).

PS SSS 151 for six in 25 overs (Abhijith Venkatesh 33, Abhishek Venkatesh 29 not out) bt Jawahar Vidyalaya 80 in 20.1 overs (Abhijith Venkatesh five for 18).
