National Service Scheme meet

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State annual meet and presentation of the technical coordination directorate-level awards of the National Service Scheme will be held at the Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Anad, Thiruvananthapuram, on February 27 and 28. More than 500 volunteers from 112 technical institutions will participate in the event.

Mankode Radhakrishnan, MLA, will inaugurate the meet and present the NSS awards for outstanding units and volunteers on February 27 at the SAF Auditorium, Chullimanoor. G. Mohandas, chairman and executive trustee of the V.N. Gangadhara Panicker Memorial Trust, will preside over the function.

Kuncheria P. Issac, Director of Technical Education will present the awards for top scorers. Ashalatha Thampuran, Principal, will deliver the introductory address.
