Official inspects PHCs

KRISHNAGIRI: Health Secretary V.K. Subburaj on Wednesday made a surprise visit to the Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in the district along with the Collector V.K. Shanmugam.
He was here to participate in a review meeting convened by the Health Minister, M.R.K. Panneerselvam, for Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Tiruvannamalai and Vellore districts.
Immediately after the meeting Mr. Subburaj inspected the PHCs at Sindagampalli and Bargur and held discussion with the medical officials to improve the facilities at the PHCs. He asked the in-patients whether they are getting medicines and food properly.
