CHENNAI: The following will be the new rates of petrol and diesel per litre in State and Puducherry with effect from midnight of Friday night, according to IOC. The old rates are given in brackets.
Petrol: Chennai – Rs.51.59 (Rs.48.65); Coimbatore – Rs.51.63 (Rs.48.69); Tiruchi – Rs.51.74 (Rs.48.80); Madurai – Rs.51.87 (Rs.48.93); Salem – Rs.51.79 (Rs.48.85); and Puducherry – Rs.46.21 (Rs.43.56).
Diesel: Chennai – Rs.37.78 (Rs.35.02); Coimbatore – Rs.38.12 (Rs.35.36); Tiruchi – Rs.38.24 (Rs.35.48); Madurai – Rs.38.37 (Rs.35.61); Salem – Rs.38.27 (Rs.35.52); and Puducherry – Rs.36.74 (Rs.34.10).
