Music festival in celebration of Ugadi

Bangalore: Music lovers in Bangalore are in for a treat this year. The Bengaluru Vasanthothsava Music Festival 2010 will be organised by the Public Vigilance Forum from March 16 to 18 at 6.30 p.m. at Mahalakshmi Layout Grounds. The announcement was made by N.L. Narendra Babu, MLA, Mahalakshmi Layout constituency and president of the Public Vigilance Forum during a press conference in Bangalore on Saturday.

This three-day long musical extravaganza will witness enthralling performances by renowned singers S. Janaki, S.P. Balasubramanyam, Hamsalekha, Rajesh Krishnan, Chaitra and Archana Udupa. Dance performances by Dr. Sanjay, Shama and Manjula Paramesh and troupe will also be conducted.

The Public Vigilance Forum, which is a 20-year-old association carrying out social service, is organising the event to celebrate Ugadi. Thousands of people are expected to attend.
