Workshop on organ donation
HYDERABAD: The city-based Multi Organ Harvesting Aid Network (MOHAN) Foundation is organising one-week training programme in Grief Counselling and Organ Donation from Monday, a press release from Foundation's CEO, K. Raghuram said.
To provide first hand information about transplantation to the participants, the training programme will have interaction sessions with Alluri Subhash Chandra Bose, who is a liver transplant recipient and Chandrakala who is a kidney transplant recipient. Director of Medical Education Dr. Ravi Raju will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural function, the release added. The training programme aims to provide training to interested persons in the techniques needed to take up grief counselling, which is vital in cadaver transplantations.
