CHENNAI: Even as talks about Mysskin directing a Kamal Haasan-starrer is still on in Kollywood, the director has begun work on his next film with Cheran in the lead role. ‘Yutham Sei' will feature Cheran as a CB-CID officer, according to Mysskin. “The story is about a case investigated by the officer. The film will have unexpected twists and turns and be a roller-coaster ride for the audience,” he said. Action As the title suggests, the film will feature a good number of action sequences and Cheran will get a subtle makeover for the film. “Audience would not notice any major change in his looks except for slight change in his hairstyle to suit the role of an investigation officer.” The story, scripted by Mysskin, will also have minimalist humour touch, like his previous films. “I have been thinking about the story for long but wanted an actor who would be a complete surprise to the audience. There is no challenge in filming actors who have done similar roles.” The team will have many debutants, including cameraman Sathya, who was an assistant of P.C.Sriram, and music director K. Female lead will also be a debutant, Mysskin says, adding that the film shoot, to begin next month, will be spread over 80 days. The film is produced by AGS Entertainment of Kalpathi S. Agoram. Talking about his plan to make a movie with Kamal Haasan, he said he had not begun any talks with the actor for the film. “I am not sure when it will happen. But the script is ready and I had decided to do this film meanwhile.”
