Karate black belts awarded

VELLORE: K. Sampath, Chief Instructor, Goju-Kai Karate School, Vellore, distributed Karate Black Belts and certificates to 11 students at the 30th annual day celebrations of the school held here last week.
K. Rathinam Murugesan, District Munsif, Mannargudi, distributed prizes and shields to the students who won the Karate competitions conducted in connection with the celebrations. K.C. Madhavan, General Manager (Commercial), Bharat Heavy Plates & Vessels Ltd., Visakhapattinam, I. Anette Regina, Head of the Department of Computer Science and G. Ezhilan, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, Muthurangam Government Arts College distributed prizes to the outstanding students.
A karate demonstration by students formed one of the highlights of the celebrations.
