TIRUPATI: The State government has drawn flak for not nominating members to the governing body of the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA), thereby leaving its fate entirely to the whims and fancies of the Chairman. In a statement to press, former member of the TUDA, Narra Munichandra regretted that the government failed to constitute full-fledged bodies to the TUDA for the last two terms and called upon the government not to repeat it at least in case of the new body which is due for constitution shortly, in the larger interest of the town and the very organisation. Munichandra also regretted at TUDA authorities not inviting former TUDA members to the ‘Athmeeya Sadassu' held on Saturday and said it was an insult to the valuable contributions they had made during their stint in TUDA.
