It's IPL for Hyderabadis

Despite Hyderabad not hosting any of the cricket matches, except for the IPL, nothing else seems to be dominating the mind-space of public in Hyderabad. The cricket league is grabbing a lot of eye balls and watching or checking internet, FM radio or asking the passers-by for cricket scores has become a favourite avocation for everyone. With the home team starting to match its potential, cricket in the next few months is set to dominate Hyderabadis. IPL has also become an anchor of sorts, around which retails outlets in twin cities are basing their advertisements on. To attract youngsters, bars, pubs and other hang outs for week-end revellers are making it a point to advertise availability of live coverage of cricket matches.
