Bank agent misappropriates funds

NIZAMABAD: A recurring deposit agent, Narsaiah, working for the State Bank of Hyderabad at Kisan Nagar of Balkonda mandal reportedly misappropriated deposit amount of Rs.12 lakhs and surrendered before the bank authorities. Narsaiah has been working as an agent for the bank for several years. Though the Bank Manager, Prasad, approached the police no complaint was lodged so far.
