Girl set afire for resisting rape dies

HYDERABAD: The 16-year-old girl, who suffered serious burns after she was set on fire allegedly by three youngsters in Kushaiguda on Wednesday last, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital on Sunday.

The accused tried to rape her at a house in Sainagar and when she resisted their attempt, the youngsters set her ablaze.
