NEW DELHI: Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has written an inspiring letter to students who are taking their examinations. He has shared his own experiences of appearing at various exams and given them valuable advice. Wishing students success in their exams, he said: “I have one advice for all of you based on my own experience of taking various examinations. I took five important exams during my educational period – ESLC (Class VIII), SSLC (Class X), Intermediate (Class XII), B.Sc. and DMIT (aeronautical engineering). Most of the time the outcome was not as per my expectations. I had to even lose one year due to a paper leak.” Dr. Kalam said if one doesn't perform well the first time, one can always rewrite and succeed. “Success always brings happiness but sometimes we have to be prepared to go through some setbacks due to many reasons.” Then he added: “If God is with us, who can be against us? You will definitely succeed, go on trying. Do not get disheartened by temporary setbacks.”
