HUBLI: Ranga Parisara, Dharwad, and Dr Ganugbai Hangal Music Foundation will celebrate the “World Theatre Day” by presenting an award and staging a play. Founder-president of the foundation Manoj Hangal and secretary of Ranga Parisara Chandrashekhar Jigajinni told presspersons here on Thursday that “Rangasiri-2010” award would be conferred on senior theatre personality Subhas Narendra. In the programme that would be held at Sawai Gandharva Hall in Hubli, on Saturday, Kannada play Khare Khare Sangya Balya written by M.M. Kalburgi would be staged by Ranga Parisara troupe, they said. Vittal Koppad has directed the play.
