Vegetable mission set up

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A vegetable mission has been set up to coordinate and effectively implement schemes for increasing the production of fruits and vegetables.

The Director (Research) of the KAU, Mission Director of the State Horticulture Mission, CEO of the Vegetable and Fruit Promotion Council, Keralam, MD of the State Horticultural Products Development Corporation, T.R. Gopalakrishnan of the KAU, Additional Director (Farms) and the Additional Director (Agricultural Marketing) are its members. — Special Correspondent
