Programme on global warming

PUDUKOTTAI: The Rotaract Club of Mookambigai College of Engineering conducted an awareness programme on ‘global warming' recently. P. Subramanian, former Director of National Institute of Technology (NIT-T), in his key-note address explained the causes and effects of climate changes and the measures to be initiated to control the warming of earth. M. Sekar, Registrar and M. G. Venugopalan, Principal, A. Subramanian, chief executive of Mookambigai College of Engineering, offered felicitations. Dr. Subramanian gave away prizes to the winners of the painting competition conducted on the topic ‘global warming.' V. Kingsley Jesus, president of the Rotaract Club, spoke.
