Traffic changes from Monday

For free flow of traffic on Cenotaph Road, G. K. Moopanar flyover

CHENNAI: Traffic police will introduce certain changes from Monday towards ensuring free flow of vehicular traffic on Cenotaph Road and on the G. K. Moopanar flyover.

According to an official release, the stretch from Anna Salai to Cenotaph Road junction up to Turnbull's point would be made one-way from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on weekdays.

Vehicles heading towards Turnbull's point would be diverted to Nandanam junction and Chamier's Road to reach Turnbull's point.

Traffic flow from Turnbull's point to Anna Salai would remain the same. Between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, buses of IT companies, coming from Madhya Kailash and heading towards Gandhi Mandapam Road would be diverted at Gandhi Mandapam junction towards Halda Junction to reach Anna Salai, the release said.
