TAKING TO THE STREETS:Students of the Government Law College squatting in Coimbatore: The city police on Tuesday removed 35 students of the Government Law College at Marudhamalai when they attempted to block the road in front of the Coimbatore District Police Superintendent Office on Railway Station Road. Withdraw case The students resorted to the agitation alleging that there was no response at the Vadavalli Police Station when they demanded that the case of ragging registered against a group of students following a complaint be withdrawn. The police authorities said to have explained that the withdrawal of the case at the police station level was not possible any more as it had already been referred to the court.
