Mohun Bagan coach quits

KOLKATA: Mohun Bagan coach Satyajit Chatterjee on Tuesday put in his papers following the team's 2-2 draw against Railway FC in a Kolkata Football League premier division game.

Chatterjee, who took over the reins from Karim Bencharifa in early February, volunteered to leave the post following the team's dismal run in the ONGC I-League. The draw against the Railwaymen only furthered his reluctance to continue.

The club is yet to take a decision on the resignation of the coach.

The Railway team scored through Dinesh Sar and S. Barua while Bagan's goals came through Jose Barreto and Sueka. — Special Correspondent
