TIRUCHI: A packet containing about 400 grams of ganja was recovered by the Tamil Nadu Special Police (TSP) personnel providing outer security to the Central Prison here in the late hours on Monday. Police sources said three unidentified persons on a motorcycle parked the vehicle at the Prison's outer periphery on the Ponmalaipatti side and were proceeding towards the compound wall allegedly to lob the packet into the jail. As the TSP personnel went to grill them, the trio took to their heels.
