KADAPA: District Collector Shashi Bhushan Kumar directed officials on Saturday to make arrangements for the inauguration of the regional sports school at Putlampalle on April 14. He reviewed the progress of construction of the school buildings, boys and girls hostels, dining hall, store room, swimming pool, football ground and drinking water supply at a meeting with officials in his chamber. Ninety-five students will shift to the new premises on Ambedkar Jayanthi, he said. The regional sports school was accorded administrative sanction for Rs. 18 crore and a sum of Rs. 7 crore was spent in the first phase, Mr. Shashi Bhushan Kumar said.
