VELLORE: The idols of Sri Muneeswarar and Sri Maragadhambigai Samedha Sri Maragadheswarar were installed and consecrated at Sri Danvantri Arogya Peedam in Keezhpudupettai near Walajapet recently. According to Muralidhara Swamigal, founder of the peedam, besides a shrine for the presiding deity of Sri Danvantri, the peedam has separate shrines for Sri Kartha Veeryarjunar, Sri Sornakarshana Bhairavar, Annapoorneswari, Sri Dhatthathreyar, Sri Thanga Baba, Sri Raghavendra Swamigal, Avathar Babaji, Arutperunjothi Vallalar, Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati of the Kanchi Mutt, which were recently installed.
