Kozhikode: A State-level campaign against extremism and terrorism organised under the aegis of ‘Ishalkoottam,' the youth wing of the Kerala Mappila Kala Academy, was launched here on Saturday. The two-month campaign will organise awareness programmes to promote communal harmony and national integration with the help of Mappila art forms in schools and colleges. Mappila Kala Academy State president P.H. Abdulla inaugurated the programme. Ishalkoottam chairman Fasalu Rahman presided over it.
