State-level management festival in Mysore

Staff Correspondent

MYSORE: Management students from universities and business schools from across the State will converge here on April 5 and 6 to showcase their talent during “Mantra-2010”, a State-level management festival, at B.N. Bahadur Institute of Management Sciences (BIMS), University of Mysore.

The festival is being organised by students of the BIMS with the support of alumni and other organisations.

BIMS chairman D. Anand said the festival would showcase leadership, communication, problem solving, creativity and other skills of the students. Over 25 teams from various universities and business schools from across the State will participate in this year's festival. There will also be cultural programmes during the event.

The students, as part of Mantra 2010, will hold a road show to create awareness on environment protection and launch a “go green” movement on the BIMS campus on April 7.
