Music event for green cause

KOCHI: ‘Bring Back Life to Earth' would be the theme for a rock music programme that would be held at the IMA Hall, Kaloor, on Saturday.

Titled ‘Vital to the Core', the event has been organised to create awareness on the grave threat posed by global warming to all living beings.

The two-and-a-half-hour-long musical tribute to Mother Earth would be led by singers from bands like 13 AD, Avial and Mother Jane.

They include George Peter, Rex Vijayan and John Thomas.

The songs at the programme would be in English, with ‘Earth' as the focal theme. For details, call 90379 87467.
