Mumbai: Nimbus Sport International on Thursday announced a five-year deal with Asian Cricket Council which will give it the right to globally market the commercial rights of three Asia Cups from 2010 to 2014. The deal covers Asia Cup this year, which will be held in Sri Lanka from June 15-25, and the editions in 2012 and 2014. Each event will feature India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh playing each other in a league format with the top two teams playing in the final. Announcing the deal, ACC Chief Executive Ashraful Huq said, “Asia Cup is the region's most sought after trophy and features some of the greatest rivalries in the history of the sport. We are confident that this partnership will help the event to continue to grow its premier status.” Yannick Colaco, COO Nimbus Sport said, “Nimbus Sport is pleased to add Asia Cup to its considerable portfolio of premier international events.
