3 held in fake drugs case

CHENNAI: Three persons were arrested by the Crime Branch CID police connection with the expired/spurious drugs case.

According to a release, R. Selvakumar (42) of Sivakasi, who allegedly designed fake labels of a popular brand of cough syrup, was arrested on Saturday. Also, N. Arivarasu (37) of Kancheepuram and Jubilan Davidson (38) of Old Perungulathur, who allegedly purchased expired/spurious drugs from the accused in the case, were arrested, the release said.
