VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Hockey Association will conduct the inter-District tournament for men from April 16 to 19 at the Acharya Nagarjuna University, said its general secretary Niranjan Reddy here on Saturday. As many as 21 district teams would vie for honours in the tournament to be conducted in league-cum-knockout basis. “Probables for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar all-India hockey tournament to be held at Pune from April 24 will be selected during the tournament,” he added. ACA's seminar Andhra Cricket Association is conducting a seminar for ACA panel umpires at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy cricket stadium at Vizag from April 24 to 26 in which BCCI panel umpires G. Pratap Kumar, P. Bhanuprakash and former Test umpire K. Parthasaradhy will interact with 50 umpires likely to participate from all the 13 affiliated district associations.
