VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University is conducting an instant examination on April 30 for students of III year B.Sc. (CCS), B.A. (CCS), B.Com (CCS-RR and vocational) courses, who have been admitted during 2007-10 and appeared in the March 2010 examinations but failed in one theory subject. Eligible candidates should register themselves at the college where they had studied by submitting the copies of their I and II year marks statements and paying the prescribed fee on or before March 23, Controller of Examinations K. Samrajyalakshmi informed in a press release on Thursday. Fee for instant examination is Rs. 1,800 for B.Sc. and Rs. 1,500 for B.A. and B.Com. The candidate must have passed all papers in the I and II years by July 2009. There is no revaluation and no late fee. The instant examination will be held at the following centres: Sir C.R.R. College for Women, Eluru (for West Godavari district candidates); Govt. College, Rajahmundry (East Godavari); Dr. V.S. Krishna Govt. College, Visakhapatnam (Visakhapatnam); M.R. College for Women, Vizianagaram (Vizianagaram) and Govt. Degree College for Boys, Srikakulam (Srikakulam). Hall-tickets issued for the March examinations are valid for the instant examination. Duplicate hall-ticket will be issued if needed after the candidate pays Rs. 50 through a demand draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. AUSDE exam centres Some centres of the final year B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com examinations of the School of Distance Education commencing April 19 have been changed, according to Director of AUSDE P. Hrushikesava Rao. Candidates who have chosen E.S. Chaitanya Degree College, Srikakulam, have to appear for the examinations at the Govt. Degree College for Men, Srikakulam. Candidates have been shifted from M.R. College for Women, Vizianagaram, to M.R. College for Men, Vizianagaram, and those who have opted for Vidyardhi Degree College, Jail Road, Visakhapatnam, have to appear for their examinations at the Vidyardhi Degree College on the second floor of Vagdevi School on Akkayyapalem 80-feet road. Candidates have to collect their hall-tickets from the centres to which they have been shifted. Other details can be had by calling AUSDE (0891-2844163, 2844142, 2844143 or 2550223).
