Amity United ends with a win
NEW DELHI: Amity United, Haryana, scored a 5-2 victory over Simla Youngs, in an inconsequential match of the ONGC second division football league at the Ambedkar Stadium on Thursday.
Sesa Academy, Goa, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Mumbai, had already ensured their qualification for the next stage from the zone, with 15 and 13 points respectively.
Useni (2), Chaya Ram (2) and Biplab scored the goals for Amity United, that led 2-1 at the interval. Prithvi and Ugo scored the goals for the loser.
Amity Unitedended itscampaign with nine points, one point behind the DSA league champion, Hindustan Club. Simla Youngs had four points. — Special Correspondent
