Award for Lakhoni

CHENNAI: Corporation Commissioner Rajesh Lakhoni has been selected for the Prime Minister's award for Excellence in Governance for 2008-09. He gets the award for the project ‘Cervical Cancer Screening evolving a new methodology – a life saving initiative of Chennai Corporation'.

The award would be presented on Civil Services Day on April 21, a release from Press Information Bureau said.
