KOLKATA: A woman visitor with a child sparked a fracas at the Secretariat here on Tuesday after she was forcibly removed from the building. Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee has asked his office to look into the matter. The woman, who had come to visit Home Secretary Ardhendu Sen with some grievances was reportedly turned away by his staff who asked her to meet the District Magistrate instead. However, she refused to budge saying that she had come only after taking an appointment. Women police were then called in to “take her away”. When reporters who witnessed the entire scene drew the attention of the Chief Minister as he was leaving the Secretariat, he said that he had asked his secretary to look into the matter.
