VISAKHAPATNAM: Students belonging to SC, ST, BC and EBC categories of Andhra University's campus colleges received a raw deal as far as the post-matric scholarships and tuition fee are concerned. Thanks to the banks following the RBI guideline and shutting down their server at midnight on March 31 (at the end of financial year) the scholarships and tuition fee sanctioned to the students have not been credited to their accounts. The students are not aware of the technicalities or other issues involved but the fact is that their scholarships or tuition fee. AU students felt really cheated when they came to know that students of two colleges in the city received the benefit, notwithstanding the server of banks being shut at March 31 midnight. The AU students led by a LLB student Muppalla Srinivasa Rao submitted a memorandum to AU Registrar P.V.G.D. Prasada Reddy on Tuesday.
