Janata Dal(S) vice-president resigns

MANGALORE: The All India Vice-President of the Janata Dal (Secular) B. Subbayya Shetty has resigned from the party. Mr. Shetty, who was the former Minister for Education, in his resignation letter sent to president of JD(S) H.D. Deve Gowda on Tuesday, said: “I intend to discontinue my membership and I hereby tender my resignation to the primary membership of the party.”
