GUNTUR: A group of persons from Dachepalli staged a sit-in protest near the Collectorate on Wednesday demanding police action against the accused in a molestation case. The victim, a 17-year old minor girl, is the daughter of a tailor at Dachepalli. The relatives of the girl alleged that the minor was kidnapped from her home at Narayanpur near Gurazala on February 28 and was allegedly molested by a group of six persons. Her father alleged that a group of persons who wanted to take revenge on him over a past tussle had molested his daughter. He named Tellakula Satyanarayana as main accused. Guntur East MLA Sk. Mastan Vali spoke to S.P S.B Bagchi and the SI.
