“Ensure uninterrupted power supply”

TIRUCHI: The Trichy District Consumer Movement has urged the State government to take necessary steps to ensure uninterrupted power supply. A resolution to this effect was adopted at a meeting of the Movement held here recently.

It urged the State government not to hike power tariff at a time when the State was witnessing power cuts. Another resolution urged the railway authorities to resume all trains in the main line section that had been operated earlier.

The meeting was presided over by Movement president J. Selvaraj, a press release here said.
