KOCHI: Golden Threads edged out Josco FC 5-4, via the tiebreaker, and entered the final of football's Wayna Cochin Premier League at the Maharaja's Stadium here on Wednesday evening. The teams were level 1-1 at the end of the regulation period with the goals coming from Josco's Unni (60th) and Golden Threads' Sanjay Vennara (83rd). Shameer, Abhijith, Ajith and Sanu converted for Golden Threads in the tiebreaker while only Shine Raj, Al-Ameer and Vineeth Antony were successful for Josco. The date of the second semifinal, between Malabar United and Central Excise, will be announced later.
