CHENNAI: M.R. Shrinivas, batting at eight, smashed an unbeaten 120 (130b, 20x4, 1x6) for India Pistons against Jolly Rovers on the first day of a tenth-round TNCA first-division league cricket match. Shrinivas's second century of the season and R. Srinivasan's 70 helped Pistons score 300 before being bowled out at IIT-Chemplast. At RKM-Vivekanada, Jesubabu Honeymen (54), P. Shijith Chandran (79), and C. Hemanth Kumar (87 batting) contributed to Aruna's score of 303 for three against Grand Slam. S. Suresh claimed six wickets to enable Vijay dismiss Young Stars for 157. S. Ramesh top-scored with 54 for Young Stars. Parry's finished the day on 352 for eight against Southern Railway thanks to half-centuries from Juzer Abbas (92), S. Dinesh Kumar (76), and K. Anand (57). In other matches, Sambasiva Sharma batted nearly five hours for 68 in UFCC's 212 for seven against Indian Bank and IOB's L.N. Prasad Reddy (73) and Pramod Doss (55) gathered 103 for the first wicket before Globe Trotters, through Y. Venugopala Rao's three wickets, took control.
