NIZAMABAD: Sanathan Dharma Sabha, Manas Mandal and Satsang Seva Samithi will jointly organise Sundarakanda parayan and bhajan at the Sarangpur Hanuman temple, 10 km away from the town on May 1. A renowned sadhvi popularly known as Vidarbha Meera Sri Alakasri Ji will give the recital. This programme is being conducted in connection with the golden jubilee year of Sanathan Dharma Sabha, according to Purushotham Santosh Kumar Somani, chief patron of the programme. Mr. Somani said the Sundarakanda recital will last six hours from evening 4 to 8 p.m. It will be laced with devotional and amusing anecdotes and bhajans at the temple established by Samartha Ramdoss, guru of Maratha strongman Chhatrapati Shivaji in the early 17th Century. Out-station devotees About 5,000 devotees from Hyderabad, Nanded, Nagpur, Nirmal, Bhainsa and Amaravathi were expected to attend the event, said Mr. Somani. Accommodation Programme convener Om Prakash Dayama, said transport and accommodation facilities for the visitors coming from outside the district would be provided at Rajasthan Bhavan and Janata Hanuman Mandir. Programme president Ramswaroop Dalia also spoke. on the occasion.
