Free mini buses proposed

BANGALORE: Transport Minister R. Ashok said here on Thursday that the Transport Department had been asked to ply mini buses from the City Railway Station and the KSRTC/BMTC central bus stations free for the benefit of commuters after consulting the railway authorities.

Mr. Ashok said the daily pass rate of the Volvo buses, numbering around 400 in the city, had been increased to Rs. 80 from Rs.75.
