Mumbai FC beats Viva Kerala

KOZHIKODE: Viva Kerala slumped to its third defeat in a row when it went down by a solitary goal to Mumbai FC in the ONGC I-League at the Corporation Stadium here on Saturday.

The winner was scored by Evans Quao in the 27th minute.

With this defeat, Viva has dropped a couple of places to 11th in the 14-team league, with 25 points from 23 games. Mumbai also has 25 points now but is placed ninth.
